I was raised in Rome, GA, where the rivers meet in the foothills of the Appalachian mountains. I spent much of my childhood and teenage years in the outdoors, hunting and fishing. At Auburn, I let my interest in all things wild lead me to a degree in Wildlife Ecology. After that, I spent two years in South Texas at the Caesar Kleberg Wildlife Research Institute getting my Master's degree in Range and Wildlife Management. My interest in landscape and outdoor photography seems a natural outgrowth of my chosen profession. In early 2017, I moved to Colorado to be with my fiancé. We got married and lived just outside Boulder which was the perfect place to develop my photography hobby. In 2021, we moved back to our hometown of Rome. My work is my way of showing an appreciation for the wild and beautiful places that exist in this world.
